Common Goal Systems standard pricing lower than Missouri statewide SIS contract
Elmhurst, IL (February 24, 2012) – Common Goal Systems is pleased to announce that standard SchoolInsight pricing is lower than the Missouri statewide student information system (SIS) contract for small to medium-sized school districts.
"With all the hype about saving school districts money, we're surprised the contract isn't more financially competitive," says Mike Xakellis, CEO for Common Goal Systems. "We are excited that our list pricing for new districts is more affordable. The contract also neglects the needs of smaller school districts, charging the same fee for all districts under 500 students -- whether the district has 100 or 500 students. This just doesn't seem fair for the smallest districts."
The contract pricing recommends 7-12 days of professional services and also charges for data conversion, project management, eLearning, etc. This overhead is typical of complex, large school district software. SchoolInsight is designed for small to medium-sized districts, requiring only a fraction of the training and implementation services.
