Common Goal Systems Updates Email Mechanism
Yesterday there was significant disruption in the email sent by TeacherEase/SchoolInsight users. Many emails “bounced” or were not delivered, especially those sent from users with yahoo.com email addresses. This was caused by an unannounced security measure implemented by Yahoo. In response we’ve updated the way emails are sent, and proper delivery has resumed. We’ve changed all emails to come from no-reply@teacherease.com instead of from the user’s email address. The “reply to” field has been set to the original user, so any replies should be correctly directed. We’ve also added “via TeacherEase” in addition to the sending user’s name to better describe the implementation.
We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience of this situation. Successful email delivery should again be in operation.
